Accelerating the discovery of super antioxidant mixtures with artificial intelligence
Pre-Seed

What's the Problem?

Oxidation is a natural phenomenon that causes the deterioration of food, cosmetics, lubricants, and other everyday products. As a result, these items become obsolete and end up in the trash. Antioxidants play a crucial role in minimizing oxidation and thereby extending the shelf life of these products. Despite the fact that almost 60,000 antioxidants are known, the few commercial antioxidant blends available are limited in terms of efficacy, cost, and safety. Additionally, existing blends do not meet the market demand for more sustainable and natural solutions. The reason for this is the lack of knowledge on how to combine individual compounds to achieve a synergistic effect. The only process that exists to date is based on the "trial and error" method. This is a slow and inefficient process given the number of possible combinations between compounds

How are they Solving it?

Migma uses an Artificial Intelligence model to accelerate the discovery of new synergistic combinations of antioxidants. We are capable of developing antioxidant blends tailored to the requirements of each company: antioxidant power, maximum concentrations, type of antioxidant, and other properties. Based on these parameters, our platform searches for candidate formulations among 1.5x10^15 possibilities. We then test them in the laboratory and offer the client company the best options, achieving a balance between efficacy, safety, sustainability, and cost.
