Who is Miguel?

Miguel founded and is currently the Chairman and CEO of Vista, the first listed independent energy company to operate and produce in the world class Vaca Muerta formation in Argentina, that started trading in the New York Stock Exchange after launching its IPO in 2017. He has also been a non-executive director of Schlumberger since 2017.

Prior to that, from 2012 to 2016, he served as chairman and CEO of YPF, Argentina’s largest energy company. From 1999 to 2012, he held several international positions at Schlumberger, his last being president of Schlumberger Production Management. Prior to his employment at Schlumberger, he served in various executive positions at YPF and its subsidiaries from 1994 to 1999, including YPF International.
